By accessing and using CoEvolv (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform for intentional professional and social connections in Singapore.
2. Description of Service
CoEvolv is a platform that facilitates meaningful connections between users through two modes:
- Focus Mode: Professional networking for mentoring and collaboration
- Connect Mode: Social connections for coffee chats and hobby meetups
Our platform enables users to send invites, exchange messages, and book meetings (15 or 30 minute slots) that can be conducted in-person, via voice, or video.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
3.1 Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must be at least 18 years old to use CoEvolv
- One person may maintain only one active account
3.2 User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activity
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity
- Post or transmit spam, solicitations, or promotional materials
- Use the platform for commercial purposes without authorization
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
4. Content and Intellectual Property
4.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you post on CoEvolv (profile information, messages, photos). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content on our platform.
4.2 Our Content
CoEvolv's trademarks, logos, and platform design are owned by us. You may not use our intellectual property without written permission.
5. Meetings and Safety
- CoEvolv facilitates connections but is not responsible for the conduct of users during meetings
- Always meet new connections in safe, public places for in-person meetings
- Report any inappropriate behavior or safety concerns immediately
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts based on reported misconduct
6. Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, but these terms will continue to apply to any content or interactions that occurred before termination.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
CoEvolv is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- The accuracy or reliability of user-generated content
- Specific outcomes from connections made through our platform
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoEvolv shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoEvolv from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
